Part of an illustration series commissioned by Regeneration Church in Clayton, Melbourne to accompany a sermon series on the Minor Prophets of the Old Testament. An experiment in line, graphic shapes, and texture.
From 2016 to 2022, I illustrated a series of illustrations for the annual Unichurch Convention at St Jude's Anglican Church. These illustrations were used in print collateral and digital promotion. I sought to infuse every image with symbolism that invited reflection on the theme of each Convention, with this final image being the culmination of the series.
An illustration I contributed to a book of biblical reflections celebrating the Advent season, published by St Jude's Anglican Church in 2020. This illustration was inspired by Genesis 3:15, or the Protoevangelium—the first Gospel. The illustration weaves together the imagery of Genesis 3:15, the bronze serpent in 2 Kings 18:4, the crucified Jesus, and the veil torn at the moment of Jesus's death.
